with excellent technique and style, the 10 basic elements that comprise all
salsa dancing. Everything is also taught in terms of our signature focus on the
Salsa Connection: the Art of Partnering. This approach is proven to get dancers on the dance floor quickly with
confidence and joy. We have made a series of 8 instructional videos that cover
all this material and they are available to students taking these courses at a
special price. Salsa-Challenge 1 is for dancers with no or little
experience and dancers desiring excellent technique and style and to be sure
that they really know how to lead/follow so they may dance with dancers of all

The Moves and Techniques courses are distinctive in focusing equally in the acquisition of new materials and the careful presentation of technique and style, based on the 10 basic elements, for every aspect of the new material to assure smooth dancing and confident partnering. Extensive critique is given throughout all our classes. Moves & Technique 1 is for dancers who have completed SC-I and SC-II. This
class will focus on “basket†and “cumbia†move combinations breaking down every
element to assure excellent technique and style and that dancers are fully
capable of leading/following every move element. There will be move sequences to
show how moves go together, yet each move can be done on its own.
